The Interest Group is a group of women working towards understanding the meaning of the principles of the sisterhood of Lambda Theta Alpha: unity, love, and respect. Throughout the process interested ladies practice and promote the empowerment of minorities and the universal women through education and cultural awareness.   The main goals of the interest group are to create working and social relationships within the interest group and with the sisters. Interested ladies partake in numerous events from fundraising, community service, political activism and networking with other organizations to social events.  By their collaborative efforts, interest groups have attained high levels of success and have gained essential insight as to what is to be a sister of Lambda Theta Alpha.
